    Moves fell delayed is it my ping or things changed?

    I'm not sure if I missed something but I took a break from the game back in Dec and now back for the new patch. I enjoyed pvp but playing MNK my moves seem delayed or not as snappy as I remember. Feels like it takes an age for Riddle of Earth to go off and my combos dont feel instant. Not sure if its my ping or if something changed. I feel like I'm loosing my mind.

    The timing with which certain PvP action effects trigger has been changed.
    Hit detection of PvP actions has been adjusted to better match visual effects striking a target.

    Thanks for the info! I get it for some moves but for my instant MNK moves feels bad.

    It takes some time to get used to it but you can still do some good combos with the delay. Fire's reply + Meteordrive into a Guarding target will hit them for the full 32/36k for example.

    When the changes were made, the accompanying notes explained that this was to make PvP feel more reactive.

    Maybe something got lost in translation, because nobody has had this experience.

    The changes were done due to snapshotting issues. Players (mainly in CC) would be solidly in Guard and still take maximum damage because long-animation moves were pressed just beforehand. If you didn't foresee the damage, you were dead. Now it allows you to take action before animations resolve.

    Yea, I get it on things like maybe a dash like the warriors spin or something but the delay on my instant moves feels off, delayed, and clunky. I don't like it at all. I'm a mnk in your face but my moves are delayed....so lame.

    I think one does get somewhat used to it with repetition, but I completely agree some jobs just feel awful. I switched from maining WAR because of it.

    What I found really... "surprising" (?) ... is that, despite a long laundry list of changes the players have suggested, the hit detection/animation lock changes were not requested by any players to my knowledge.

    And yet whenever I get the GM response after reporting someone for lethargic play in FL, it includes the recommendation I post suggestions for change on the official forums.
