Certainly fair, I am just another person with another idea that could be horrible in practice. I just wanted to get the idea out there for it to be considered by players and ideally eventually the devs. This is not the only solution, I just think its a good one to get them out of some of the traps they've put themselves in (i am obviously biased since it's my idea. That said, I want to explain WHY I think its good and want others to engage with that). Even if they don't implement this in particular, considering it could give them NEW ideas that may be even better than I imagined.
In the end I just want them to do SOMETHING because the current systems are clearly flawed in ways that will only get worse if the devs attempt to continue as they are. I think as the game has evolved it's become clear that more core systems need updates to modernize them (as they have done) but I disagree with many of the solutions they came up with.


I don't want more button for just be a real bad third zone DPS, i want healing to be a real thing again.... DPS can come after that, but first fix healing (which include a lot of nerf)

I agree that the healing is important, which is why I want them to also fix the balance of healing on other classes in addition. I also think they could focus on both issues at once.

It's a old French saying which mean that you shouldn't do two thing at the same time because you'll either fail or do a very poor job, and waste time.

^ this x1000. I hate going into harder content as healer because I am clumsy. I am likely to mess up here and there and die. And I know that 1 mistake means it will either end in a run that took too long or one where me and my dps get to watch the tank finish the boss. Those runs are embarrassing in the least and make me want to not queue healer anymore at their worst.IMO, what is actually more stressful for a lower skill healer is when you die and the entire group wipes because of it, or even worse disbands because of you. The punishment for underperforming on a healer is WAY higher than any other role. A dps or tank can be carried through content by a healer. They get to make mistakes and continue playing. A healer can only be carried by another healer, a caster with a raise, or an OP tank (last one especially sucks cause the healer and often the DPS too dont get to play anymore as they wait for the tank to SLOWLY finish the fight or die).
I can mess up as much as I want on either other role and there's always a way back into the fight. Healer, you get to sit out while someone plays the game for you.
As an astrologian main.. no thanks, no more buttons, if I wanted to DPS I'd be a DPS.

I also main astro but I say MORE BUTTONS. and less healing buttons that do the same thing. The 1 button spamathon has gone on long enough.


You do realize that, if SE add more DPS spell on healer it will be like Picto and VPR : still one button spam ^^ (well, maybe two)
