Also, you didn't ask for different functionality. You just asked how it was different. It doesn't matter if it's "just" cosmetic. Many of the changes affect useability.
That "rebel without a cause" thing doesn't even make sense. I'm not "rebelling" against anything, and I do have a cause- to inform you of two things: 1) that you posted old news, and 2) that there are actually things that have changed since then. Just because the changes aren't things you care about doesn't make them not changes.

I'm the type of person that even when I'm wrong I can still make a case to argue about. That isn't the care here though. I just am kind of preoccupied at the moment. So I'll cut to the chase.

Most of us don't have the time to read every single bit of news put out by SE. This is new information to most people. I'm not one who accepts being b!tched at by people just because they know every single bit of information about 2.0, I'll post what ever I want. Like I said this information I posted contains details that are still accurate, regardless of the fact that some other stuff has been added to the UI, and some graphics on it have been changed.

Just because people like you think they know everything doesn't mean they need to get on every single thread about 2.0 info and go "OLD NEW OLD NEWS! DIAF!"

...and if I had seen them before I wouldn't be such a tool. It's amazing what people will do/say knowing they have full anonymity.

I can be extremely blunt- without going into specific details as to why, that's the best way to put it. It's not really meaning to be an ass, though I recognize it sometimes happens without trying. It's just something I have to deal with.

I'm not really sure how pretty much anyone on these forums could have missed the 2.0 images that were
1) posted on this forum multiple times over the last several weeks
2) were posted on every major community and MMO site
3) were posted on the official website
4) are still at most of those locations.

The annotated screenshot wasn't quite as heavily publicized and I can understand that one specifically. However, I was specifically discussing the new ones and how they are different from the original that was released like a year ago.

However, given the posts in this thread, I'd be concerned if I was a marketer at SE, because apparently they're doing something wrong if people are missing this....

As far as the differences, they are many- I don't know how anyone can look at the two side by side and say they look almost the same. The party panel in particular is VERY different and has new features. The action bars can be separated and can be set to run vertically as well as horizontally. Those by themselves are big changes, but crafting itself is clearly undergoing some major changes as see in in the screenshot showing a carpenter, with the "CP" bar and no MP/TP bar.
