Thread: detailed description of UI in 2.0 screenshot

Make a new thread about past topic, always get called out.

Bump a really old thread that might take an hour to find, get called out for necro bump and told to let the thread die.

Sounds to me like a lose-lose situation so instead of fighting, how about y'all discuss the UI?

In a situation like this, the old thread could have / should have saved a post in the first place. But posting in an old thread, if it adds something meaningful to the thread, isn't always bad. Usually though, the new posts made in those old threads are irrelevant.

They've been posted by S-E themselves before so people shouldn't act as if they didn't. Could people miss that? Of course.

Interesting info, though it isn't that hard to figure out. Most of this just seems like something people will learn after a while once ARR's is released so I don't really get the importance other than just wanting to delve deep into a screenshot from sheer excitement. If I had the free time to do that I'd spend it on other things, but I digress. This information is useful and will help me get some semblance of bearing (even if it isn't much). Thanks, whoever had the free time to work on this, for working on it and thank you, Mijin, for posting this. Yeah, it's been out before but at least you're putting the word out.

Nobody here wants your moderation. Go the frak back to lamerescape and moderate there, oh wait theres only like 2 people that post on your forums.

Really?

I bet you i could fill the front page with old topics. Necro bumps are generally considered a topic that has no further discussion and only brought to the front page to do one of two things.

1: You trolling.
2: You like your own threads being on the front page, or hope to garner a higher post count in your thread.

As long as you make a meaningfull post with a solid opinion not just.

"Yeah that's cool" then you wont be called out for a Necro bump.
