I wish they'd just put them in the Excitatron maps, at least as a final floor prize or something. I can't stand the roulette maps; I run them in a group of three with my roommates and it's nothing but damage sponge enemies for garbage loot and a pittiance of gil per floor. It's the kind of crap you get a miserable sense of relief from when the minion drops, not so much "pride and accomplishment".

have you considered that some things are meant to exist as a sense of pride and accomplishment?
they aren't going to make this more accesible because they were DESIGNED to be obtained through an extremely rare method

Not saying I agree with them but maps are genuinely the lowest form of content in this game. They're beyond dull and boring and I would never associate any of them with the word accomplishment.

In isolation, you could say that about almost every part of the game. But taken all together, this is what makes up the whole "there being stuff to do with your friends when you feel like it". Playing FFXIV is on the whole not an edge seeking competitive sport, so 'accomplishments' are more a way of keeping score of what you've been doing with your time.

Just set up a PF for the maps - they still get traction today. You only need a few people to bite.

Unsyncing the maps and allowing people to easily blow through them solo will completely devalue the minion's market value.

They should at least allow us to take our Chocobos for solo synced only and maybe like they do in msq trials, give like 2 lives or so. That would be a challenge in itself and would be worthwhile solo content if there are no map parties imo.

Hello........ I wanted to add another complaint here.
In Endwalker, my friend and I went out of our way to farm for 6 months, every 2-3x through mon-fri, and sometimes sat-sun too.
I am not talking about 1 map........ we did 6-12 maps every day. EVERY DAY........ I streamed, I played only with him....
Mog hunt came out with the maps for guaranteed portal, I worked extremely hard, obtained 270 PORTAL GUARANTEED MAPS
This was during the last month before dawntrail, and we even involved 2 other friends who brought THEIR maps. I couldn't finish all the maps. I have 34 left in my inventory....
Guess how many times we hit the silver button on the roulette?

Exactly. NEVER. I did not want to make a complaint, but now that somebody brought it up, I will. My friend and I still do maps, but we will never go out on our ways again.
We were able to make 5 people happy with the mount of 3x exchange, but that silver RNG of roulette? Never, ever, ever seen before. Ever. And when I heard it was only through that, I was quite upset.
Actually I speak in past time, I am still upset. And am I motivated to do the other maps? I won't and I don't. They are unsellable too. I find it the most outrageous ever.

Now, you'd think after DT release they make the RNG kinder? Nah, went 5x more on guaranteed, I give up. I am very upset at it. I guess I am more upset at it than I initially felt. I tried to ignore it for a long time

Cool, I farmed 3000 of the level 70 ones, have run 204, and have had 3 silver buttons activate.

This post is bait. Conceivably Special Timeworn Maps don't exist yet, those level 90 maps you can get are the dungeon ones.
