Always felt sprint was kind of awkward in the current incarnation of PvP. There's almost no reason you'd want it off if you could help it, so why not have it automatically activate after a set period of inaction?

The only reason I can think of is if they're actually trying to take the action economy in mind, where an ogcd weave slot spent activating sprint is one not spent casting recuperate or an offensive action. I highly doubt they're thinking things through that far though.

I'd much rather it were simply the baseline or removed entirely. And then we could have an actual sprint with a meaningful cooldown that's powerful enough to distinguish itself from baseline movement speed.
