Seeing stuff like this every single run is a such a waste. Just make it drop some sort of token for a piece.

A token or a coffer would be nice, that way you're pretty much guaranteed to get a piece you want unless you have truly abysmal luck
I think the system should change to providing the players with a weekly currency per each defeated boss. These currencies are alliance raid-specific, and can be used to purchase a gear up to the player's liking.
Once the patch is gone and the weekly limit is removed. Players can obtain limitless amount of said currency from the alliance raid. It gives incentive that you're getting an upgrade and a protection from bad luck.
This idea may not be perfect, but honestly better than the current system we have.
yeah hurts me too... even worse when its something that would be nice to have, but just has 0 priority for now as the main roles are more important...
Maybe you should use the role for which you want the piece so you can roll need instead of greed.
????????????????????????????
What does that have to do with the fact that the majority of the loot goes to the ground because no one wants it? The system sucks because the bosses essentially reward you with nothing anyone wants.
You posted a picture where someone rolls greed on an item and gets it. So I assumed you rolled greed on that piece too and lost and therefore complained that you can't get the item you wanted.
They're upset that items are getting completely wasted because no one is getting them at all. If you have a party that has already gotten their gear that they want, or the gear that they do want doesn't drop. The gear is wasted. It's not a big deal if you can run a dungeon or something unsync'd for a 1 minute clear but in a 30 minute a-raid it is pretty annoying not to get the piece of gear you want.
Tokens/RNG protection definitely should exist. Every run should just drop a token that can be exchanged 1:1 for armor.
Now if only the game can detect what roles exists in each party and exclude the ones that cannot be needed by any existing party members lel. Either way, you missed point.

Bad luck proof is too much. Tiny Indie Company, please understand, Ig.... lol
Keeps the raids active for casuals in order to complete their set(s) and get the coin, so unlikely it will be changed. They're upset that items are getting completely wasted because no one is getting them at all.
