Players don't use airships as often as they want them to. Some added flying spots on field areas would be great rather then citys. You want a sanction price lower than the airship price? 400k Gil and not cheaper, I say.
The price is low for the scroll. Just do 1 caravan.
With 2 hour cool down time for each food, why not ^^
But only if you need rare mats to make the food. Like a flawless part in the recipe.
Correct me if im wrong but isnt scrolls 300seals each? Still players die alot. Like most players they want 99 scrolls...29700seals ouch.

why do we need a gil sink?

There's still way too much gil in this game, especially for those who've played since the start when you were bathing in gil from doing a handful of leves a day and vendoring everything turned you a profit. You need to sink the gil to stablize the economy because as we've seen people sure as heck aren't going to do it themselves.
"Hey I should sell this class weapon for 30,000,000 because I got lucky on double melds!"
It's common sense and not a secret -- I know you've been playing FFXIV for quite some time, you should know how much gil entered this game during it's first year until SE nerfed it.

yes I also know a lot of the player base has turned over since then, don't get me wrong I know there are lots of people out there that have lots of gil but to tie numbers to that is just silly. Gil sinks are fine, gil sinks no one will use is pointless and a waist of development time.
As for the class weapon comment, it is very very easy to burn way more gil then that on trying to create one I find the 30 mill price a reasonable one that shouldn't be to hard for anyone to get if they set their mind to it.

again, I ask, does having millions make you win the game? There's still way too much gil in this game, especially for those who've played since the start when you were bathing in gil from doing a handful of leves a day and vendoring everything turned you a profit. It screws with the economy. Don't be dense.
