Your thoughts on the new Chaotic Alliance Raid having (possibly) BIS gear?

As for me, I don't think I'm a fan yet. My reasons:

-Could divide the raiding community for no reason (This is a bit extreme and I doubt alliance and savage would ever be out on the same patch, so it's a bit of a silly one)

- What if someone decides to start it like, 4 weeks later. Let's just say they are alone, how would they find 23 people if everyone stops doing it? (My biggest "fear" yet)

- While I usually like alliance raids, I much prefer 8 man for hard content.

Overall I don't have that many issues with it, I love the gear, I like the mount, it's pretty cool that we get so many rewards and at the end of the day it's something else to do for people who are waiting for savage. It might not even be that hard and I'm dooming for nothing (though that'd be weird if it's not as difficult as savage but the bis has better stats)
I just wish it doesn't become the new norm and the main raids will stay for 8 people.
What's your opinion on it?

Certainly valid. On the flip side, there are plenty of people who like to take the week between Christmas and New Years off, so could also mean more people are able to partake. We'll see how well it works out for them.

Not particularly: the consumer habit has been imported, but the party itself doesn't seem to have the place we give it.
