Your thoughts on the new Chaotic Alliance Raid having (possibly) BIS gear?

As for me, I don't think I'm a fan yet. My reasons:

-Could divide the raiding community for no reason (This is a bit extreme and I doubt alliance and savage would ever be out on the same patch, so it's a bit of a silly one)

- What if someone decides to start it like, 4 weeks later. Let's just say they are alone, how would they find 23 people if everyone stops doing it? (My biggest "fear" yet)

- While I usually like alliance raids, I much prefer 8 man for hard content.

Overall I don't have that many issues with it, I love the gear, I like the mount, it's pretty cool that we get so many rewards and at the end of the day it's something else to do for people who are waiting for savage. It might not even be that hard and I'm dooming for nothing (though that'd be weird if it's not as difficult as savage but the bis has better stats)
I just wish it doesn't become the new norm and the main raids will stay for 8 people.
What's your opinion on it?

Releasing a piece of content on the 24th of December is quite possibly one of the dumbest things this dev team has ever done.
Even more so when that piece of content requires 23 other people to complete.

Certainly valid. On the flip side, there are plenty of people who like to take the week between Christmas and New Years off, so could also mean more people are able to partake. We'll see how well it works out for them.

It doesn't matter and to begin with the gear level or how special it is as it is currently divides the the community as a whole already as it is now, in a way that uhm... how to put it.. that savage/Ultimate people gain an advantage when it should be the other way around or the competition on equal ground.

The rewards should not be based in gear and gear upgrades to begin with at all, also it show a weakness for the 'elite' if opposed it everyone being able to go BiS no matter what.

While I agree with you, they're not Western developers so I understand it.
On the other hand, they know they have a big playerbase in the West so I also don't understand it lmao

This is why I think it's stupid and I agree with you. I forgot to add this to my original reply, Japanese celebrate it too so it is quite baffling. I didn't add it to my original post but you do have a point, I don't want to be rude but it seems that YoshiP is kind of asleep lately lol

i dont have any intentions of running this so i couldnt care less if it had best in slot or worst in slot gear
