Astrologian leaked wow document new class

WoW Bard would not be from FFXIV, it reads more like Minstrel in Lord of the Rings Online. Bard in LotRO was more of a Shouter than a Player of music. It may have gotten better over the last 5 years. I've only seen footage on Youtube after 2020.

Astrologian is also not from FFXIV, although it bears the same name. It is definitely not a healer class. It's more like that end boss in WoW that was going to 'reset' Azeroth and has more in common with the Celestial Steed than Astrologian in this game.

Microsoft/Blizzard has a number of jobs described in the video (Tinker is like the Engineer profession, except with mechs instead of exploding sheep). Because of this, I wouldn't say that Blizzard/Microsoft is going for anyone's throat. At best they might hope that name recognition might spike some interest, at least until you find out the particulars and go "um, no".

The WOW class being more a time mage is basically what astrologian used to be

If you made HW/SB AST into a DPS instead of a healer it would basically be a time mage

Not that I care, although I give WOW its due for being the foundation and/or inspiring many other games, I never played more than 2 weeks of WOW, that was enough for me.
