Dawntrail 30% Sale not on Steam?

Im just wondering... why, why is the sale limited to the mogstation and the microsoft store?

I was planning to give the xpac to my best friend trough steam the moment it went on sale, but this makes me think that in the future its gonna be the same. Now even Steam is getting shafted from sales?, great job SE.

The issue for me with non-steam sales is regional pricing. The mogstation doesn't take into account regional currency value, for me, buying Dawntrail from the mogstation would cost nearly double the price, and with the sale price its still more expensive than the game is for me on steam without sale

I am on Brazil, having regional subscription pricing saves me so much money over the years that it makes up for it by a lot, anyone living in countries with weaker currency would have a similar experience.

Wait for the next Steam Sale. That is the time when the Steam Version normaly goes on Sale after it went on Sale on the Mog Station. That should be the Winter Sale next week.
