Healer DPS is mitigation. The faster the enemies die the less healing needs to be done. Not to mention the stun that Holy provides.

Also a bunch of the posts in this thread talk about tanks "almost dying" and "losing a bunch of hp", but none of them actually say their tanks died. Losing hp is normal. It's what tanks do.
