Will SE cycle Ranked PVP from datacenter on every season?

Right now Aether and Dynamis both need to change datacenter. That comes with some downside for us, like not being able to access our retainers while we do a session of PVP, and we always needs to jump between 2 data centers.

The idea of merging the datacenter together seems to work for the queue time, but I was wondering if SE will change the "pvp" datacenter on each season. It would be nice and fair if this cycle every season from one to another. So only 2/3rd of the time we won't be home.

If I understood th live letter comments correctly I think rotating data centers is the plan.

My conclusion is, that PvP will be the test run for combining datacenter queues in the future. Which might be the smoothest solution for everyone, but the most troublesome for the coder. So it takes time.

It's very likely going to be used to urge people off the more congested data centers.
Though why Primal to start? No idea. I'm not exactly complaining though.

Even if it wasn't my own DC, it's nice queues aren't dead.

They need to get rid of the dumb DC restrictions if they plan on hosting PvP on Aether in the future. Unless you try in the middle of the night, it's pretty much impossible to travel there.
