    i feel PLD's passage of arms really waste of potency....!!!

    ... it has cool animation, but most of time we just turn it on for short moment and turn it of once we get snapshot

    it would be cool if they can make it store some damage it block then reflect it off once duration end (or player can trigger it manually)

    even if they cannot make block damage store in this game, it can still work like DNC's improvisation, it will get 1 stack every 3 seconds

    It being the strongest party mit on tanks at 15% all damage types at the cost of some damage is the entire point of the skill.

    It's the strongest tank raid-mit in game, it's also effectively a bonus button you have for playing PLD since no other tank has 3 raidwide mits. It's also an oGCD and the effect lingers for couple seconds even if you immediately stop it after casting it, so for big single-hit raidwides you can weave it with no DPS loss.

    It's not a dps loss it can be weaved in.

    I've changed my opinion on Passage as I used to want it to just be a button that you press and you got the mitigation, but now I actually like how it means you have to position well to use it effectively. It's also just outright really strong with Paladin also having 2 other standard raid wide mitigations.

    it is a design issue in the game, that all non damage skills should be a weaving skill (OGCD) or it will be bad forever.

    Passage of arms is OGCD. Only holding it will be a damage loss.

    I mean the one thing I dislike is that with its cool animations, I wish there were more situations where I'd want to hold it at least for 4-5 seconds or so.

    Like say, a boss applies a raidwide DoT that lasts the rest of the fight, but this is applied in 5 stacks each 2s apart. Now I could see someone sacrifice 4 GCDs to cover all of those, further reducing damage. Especially useful if undergeared. But such mechanics don't exist much at all, and more importantly the game struggles to have actual raidwide damage that engages 90% of the healers' kits, so eh, that's a problem to solve later.

    Right now, PoA is more or less the coolest and best tank group mitigation oGCD.
