Blitz. We got Blitz. Which together with the faster-CD 3-step PB was the best thing we got since making TK usable as more than just an Execute/pre-cutscene skill and Greased Lightning therefore a real resource instead of a pre-fight tax in late Stormblood (then ruined by Shadowbringers, which then removed GL too after realizing they'd neutered any point of it existing).

Endwalker MNK was straight up better designed (thematic, distinct, smooth but interesting in practice, more capable of nuance except perhaps in its opener) than Shadowbringers (especially late Shadowbringers) Monk.

Endwalker Monk was fine. Dawntrail Monk was where things went increasingly dull and mismatched. (Well, that and maybe in the transition from late Stormblood to Shadowbringers.)

I believe he meant that weird window at the end of ShB where they deleted greased lightning but didn’t replace it with anything till the reworked it in 6.0, not 6.0 itself

Yeah monk didnt get blitz TILL 6.0 hence it being the end of the husk period. I love blitz

It's cool being on the forums gets me wound up till i miss little details too. We're all wols but also human. Fr tho I like current monk a lot. Its not my favorite melee but it's always been one I like experimenting with in exploration content like bozja
