So apparently we're only getting a barding, some housing items and an orchestrion roll. These feel so low effort.

Sasme low effort event every year, meanwhile in guild wars 2 we get races, ingame glamour to get with event currency, a buttload of achievments and events that will be filled with players all time around

I consider GW2's events a different kind of bad. There's more, but most of the rewards are simply from previous years and a lot of it boils down to grinding currencies from activities that haven't been updated since 2018 at the latest.

So we agree its still better than whatever shit ff14 devs do yea? I don't consider a quest line where you have to teach 9 kids in pairs of 3 what the christmas spirit is about by nodding at them, content. GW2 is griiiiiiindy sure but at least your busy for a couple more minutes

All I ever really care for is glamour for myself, not my Chocobo. I'll still get the barding but it is disappointing to see a lack of incentive for some of the seasonal events. That being said, I did enjoy the Halloween glam. :3

What really irks me somehow (might just be a me-problem though) is that we barely get any new titles for those kinds of events anymore. Besides for crossover stuff, that is.
I dunno, titles like Half-boiled Hero/Heroine or how it's called in german "Eierlegende" ('Egg-legend'...it's glorious) were kinda funny and special. I miss them

Square needs to put more effort in, when gw2 doesn't even have a sub and has massive events for the holidays, there's something seriously wrong.

Can we just ditch having a story quest every year and put effort into an actual EVENT that gets added on to each year? Like hallows end in wow or something?
I'd love a boss we do every year with other players that is themed after the holiday, like imagine a moogle santa claus boss, and minigames in the gold saucer themed after christmas. Can we get some effort please?

It'd also be nice if they sold past rewards for the event currency, you can keep adding them to the store too for people who don't want to wait for the event to come back.

I already own 7 christmas (sant/reindeer/snowman/choir...) glamours, decorated trees, snowy trees, indoor trees, white indoor trees, small trees, opened boxes, closed boxes, wreaths, wall/tabletops items, orchestrion rolls, mounts, foods, ice walls and walls, chocobo bardings, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Still, this year they made something I don't already own from past events.

- 1x choco-barding
- 2x tabletops
- 1x wall mounted
- 1x orchestrion roll

If 5 new items is "only" I fail to understand what's "enough"-

I'd much rather get a mount and/or glams than a barding, orchestrion rolls and housing items.
