Yoshida has at least allegedly been overseeing most aspects of it, and had a couple statements in the reveal trailer about how jobs in the main game had been getting redesigned to be easily translatable to mobile. EW SMN might very well have been a preview of 8.0 jobs a full 5 years in advance.

Well, if that’s the case, where the main game is headed to be 1:1 with mobile, it’ll be time to leave the game. They turned the whole thing into a mobile joke at that point. Not a serious game.
