Add the player as friend and see what duty he is in or if he queues. Or do a playersearch.
Would be too complicated otherwise, cause imagine Player A bans Player B and Player B bans Player C and Player C bans Player D. You will have a harder time making the duty pop with only like 10 people in queue.

And if they still force us in the same match then truly mute them like the list says it does, No symbols that I can personally see them make. They want to put an ignore up? Fine, I don't want to personally see it. I want to get through one match without them making a snarky 'nice job' or 'hello'

They can be put on the enemy team. i think OP is asking for an option that if you block lets say Scholar 1 you can't match make with them for 3 days or so.
