Just Delete Picto Please

It's a small consolation that requiring pct in your party is basically like admitting you cant make dps checks. But really, I'm so sick of being right about this affront to fun. Honestly, square, just remove the class, its ok, we wont be mad. Everyone makes mistakes, and Picto is simply that; a mistake. Its ok, we can start over. We can rebuild. Just delete it, and we can all go back to a FF where classes actually have function.

But seriously wow, what an awful mess this class is. How many times do I need to reiterate that it's balance is such travesty that it's actually ruining the games fun.

The irony is that I want to play this game but picto makes it harder, unless i choose to give in and swap to it(spoilers; ill never even unlock it)

I hope they give Picto a slap on the wrist that turns out to be a buff in disguise. Some of you seriously are having way too unhinged a reaction to a class being stronger than it reasonably should.

You can't play BLM because Picto is too strong? You can't have fun because a job you aren't playing exists? Really? Are you 12?

Picto so OP it would dodge deletion with Smudge, paint itself into real life, use it’s free sprint to zoom to the dev offices, then beat them with a paintbrush

Not that anyone important enough for anyone to read, nor would they ever delete a job, but this single-handedly resparked my joy for caster.

It is by far the most interesting job in the game and I hope all future jobs and reworks take notes from it.

Mao disagrees. What PCTs show is how narrowly focussed game has become on boss fight design. When all boss fights become DDR, it should not be surprisings that a job designed SPECIFICALLY for DDR fights would excel.

Instead of delete it, suspend it in the Aetherial Sea until we all get job rework in 8.0. PCT clearly isn't making things even battlefield with the current state of job designs and raid design xD. So let's keep Viper for Dawntrail and Emet Selch snap PCT on 8.0 launch date? Sound good compromise? XD

Mao is less sure abouts other jobs being flawed then Mao is about boss-fight design being flawed. Mao said it before and Mao says it agains. Arcade-style DDR fights where participants run around clogs-dancing to the beat of boss-fight mechanics is not what Mao considers fantasy MMO RPG adventures. Mao does NOT want to be frog in a blender. Unfortunatesly for Mao, it IS what SE wants and whatever SE wants, SE gets. It's thems game after all. Is why Mao left and why Mao still nots wish ill on game. Players whats stay to play maybe likes arcade-style game and if so, is good that game is changing to suit thems. It's just not classic fantasy adventures that Mao loves so much.
