They really need to merge Dynamis worlds into Aether, Primal and Crystal

I don't know if it is possible, but they need to merge the Dynamis worlds with the other DC's. Let's just be frank - Dynamis isn't thriving. It's a dead zone. Even being on the most populated world, Seraph, it feels like a place that has been long abandoned and you might run into a person every so often.

With DC travel, no one has the need to stay on the Dynamis worlds. The hope that DT would increase the population? Yeah, no. Most folks visited or created alts and have promptly left.

I feel like a sucker for coming to Seraph. The dream of finally having a medium house was too tempting. Now....I am trapped in no man's land.

That's a bit of a stretch, Seraph in the starter cities are pretty populated and active but I do agree it would be nice to break apart Dynamis and merge with the other three NA data centers. I also went to Seraph for my dream Shiro 60 mansion plot and will stay since I just data center travel if DF is taking a long time to pop. Just make sure Seraph and Kraken goes to Primal so I can have both my catgirls and Bun girl alts on the same data center :3

I dunno if merging the worlds is the solution (although I can't think of a better one at the moment), but I agree that Dynamis feels thoroughly much deader than it should be.

The only reason I haven't left for more populated pastures... and games with better developers... is the FC I found here. PF is dead aside from a FATE or map train or two during peak hours, queues are abysmal unless you only play healer.

I suppose, given enough time, Dynamis will fill up enough to be passable. But with Aether still being the go-to DC, I think it will take more time than this game has left, in my honest opinion.

For whatever reason, they don't want too many active player connections to any given data center. This is why they made a separate one, as opposed to simply making new worlds on the existing data centers.

While the other data centers may not necessarily be congested right this moment, there are times that they are and in those moments the extra world/capacity would cause problems for them.

They should have split the 3 dcs and then added worlds instead of making dynamis all new.


The best solution currently is to rearrange all of the dcs and split them evenly.

Merging comes with a lot of issues that I don't see them wanting to bother with
- People losing houses
- Two or characters having the same names, so someone has to change (Retainers too, for that matter as when I moved from Brynhildr to Malboro I had to rename my retainer)

just two I could think of off the top of my head
with housing, they could create new wards to compensate but I doubt SE would be wanting to do that or how easy of a process that is, all things considered

Regional pf & df, is all they need to do to fix a majority of the population issues with DCs.

I think folks are missing what I am saying. They've done the DC/World reorganization before. It wouldn't be that the worlds on Dynamis get merged where they disappear but the worlds get reshuffled into the other three DCs, for example, Seraph gets moved to Aether, etc. They split the current worlds on Dynamis between the other three DCs

As someone who existed on Aether before servers were removed to go to Crystal, no thank you. We don't need that sort of destabilization to come back. I'd rather my DC not constantly go down like it used to then.
