Current Housing issues - The Lack of Actual Housing

I have been bidding religiously every week on 8 characters on Gilgamesh for the past year to get a small house for my personal FC. I just want SE to know my subscription expires in 3 days and I have no intention of renewing it until I see this addressed. I'm not even necessarily being picky about size or location. I put multiple bids every week just for the chance to get housing (when there are any available to bid on.) Your lottery system "fix" for the previous iteration of fighting the bots and personal listings through external channels, is not a fix at all. It's putting lipstick on a pig and calling it something it's not.

There are no FC housing Plots on Materia, I hope they open up more. I saw a few FC houses owned by one person.

There is plenty of houses out there, and the current lottery system even makes if fair for all trying to acquire, just give it time.

1. Any house is a good house, so go get one to begin with is what you should do,
2. You got a house, try and win a bigger one or one in another area that is more to your liking.
3. In between trying to get a house, get an apartment an don top of that you can get a FC apartment as well.

On EU maybe because the region's playerbase is dwindling in numbers, NA is full aside from Dynamis, and Dynamis is not a viable option for a lot of people.

Also lol @ "fair", great instead of fighting 5 bots you have to fight 500 real people

Sure "technically" it's fair, but I'd rather take my chance agaisnt 5 bots at placard than 500 or more real people.

I've tried for 16months to got medium at LB... I know having specificities is stacking the deck against myself... but i got the other specific kind of LARGE house I wanted and got emboldened by my good luck...
My accounting lists 30 lost lotteries... Haven't seen free plots of the kind I want in few weeks now... OwO

My server has 0 plots available for the first time going into the next bidding cycle… with auto-demo off it’s been only 5 or less for awhile now.

I’m thankful to have a house, but this sucks for people who don’t. You shouldn’t have to jump through ridiculous hoops or hope for lucky RNG to get one of the best features in the game, which is why I continue to support adding an instanced system to supplement the wards.

Get rid of the apartments and get rid of the demolition timer and then tell me about how it was better.

I don't think the issue is really housing. It's a matter of players being picky, Players complain about housing shortage. But are too good for what's available. They're desperate and may have been trying for months to get a plot, But not willing to go with the supply is. Players are using the fact that Yoshi p wants to give players time to play other games against him, but complain about housing demolition shackling them to their plot. Players are upset for the players that are willing to go to these dead servers and buy up an entire ward. But aren't interested themselves.

Housing can be improved , but some of the wounds from it are self inflicted by the players.
