Eutrope's Tale - The search for salvation

Our story begins with the reopening of the Arcadion after the events of the main quest. An arena where competitors fight each other using feral souls to achieve ultimate glory and earn a place with the immortalized.

After we clear M4, we learn Eutrope's true goal. She desperates needed our soul in order to save her own, decaying due to psychonekrosis, a deadly side effect caused by overuse of feral soul transformation.

M4 fight and song tells us the whole story.

"Tonight our city bleeds red, blue, and green"

She comes for us, she means our job role colors. DPS, tanks and healers.

"A girl looks to the stars and dares to dream"
[...]
"Climbed every mountain, made it to the top
I had it all, or so I thought
Traded tomorrow for a lie
And found the price too high"

She learned about the glory of being an Arcadion's champion, only to learn the bitter truth.

"The clock is ticking counting down to naught
I'm outta time but it won't stop
I'll bet my life before it's lost"

Her soul is dying. She really needs our souls. She doesn't have much time left.

"Look in my eyes, yeah I know you understand
(somebody help, my misery's taking me)
I've made up my mind, now there ain't no going back
(somebody help, I'm losing what's left of me)"

She knows what she must do, yet she doesn't want to. She sees no other way. She is suffering and in pain, she must endure for her and her sisters.

At this point we are still standing, she is becoming even more desperate.

She asks "how are you still standing??"

Eutrope begins to wonder.

"I look out to the crowd and there I see
A thousand little girls--all me
I've turned the tables, yeah I'm fightin' back
I'll bring the lightnin', now it's"

She needs to go all in.

Not enough. We prevail. Canonically, she eventually realises its no use to die there, she may yet find another way.

"Damn it. No choice but to withdraw."

But, what if she didnt?

Enter, M4 Savage. A Wanderer's Minstrel's fanfic.

In her devotion to kill us, she sees no choice.

''I have no choice, but to surrender to electrope.''

Wicked Thunder begins to change yet again. Her body growing piece by piece.

She casts Intermission. An explosion of electrope energy that hits everywhere. She is losing her mind.

After her transformation is completed, "Cross Tail Switch" is the perfect move to show she completely lost control of herself. A random, very powerful attack that hits everyone and everywhere on the arena about 8 times. She is discharging her entire power. It is so strong that the WoL needs (or needed) to cast Tank LB3 AND mitigate to survive.

M4S has no lyrics. There is nothing else to say.

She's gone.
