If you're fine in the boss arenas, you could wait at the starting point while the rest of the party goes on ahead and clears the tunnels. When they get into a fight, you'll get a prompt to warp there once the entry seal activates.

Void Ark is so low-difficulty they probably won't notice you're missing, and shouldn't mind if you say why you're sitting out.
