Good luck! Have you tried shouting in Ul'dah for help? There may be other people in the same situation, and there may be higher level players who would be glad to help PL you since this is now rather urgent.

Can THM still kill multiple mobs, easily, at once? I remember a friend of mine just rounding mobs up and mowing them down.

At lower levels this is a bit more difficult, but possible if the monsters are not very strong.

But the danger is that your HP is fairly low as a mage, and there is a chance that your casting could be interrupted if there are too many monsters hitting you -- meaning that you won't be able to get any attack spells off.

To do this, Stoneskin and Sanguine Rite are very helpful, but you don't get those until L26 Conjurer and L30 Thaumaturge (both will prevent casting interruption while active), so that doesn't help you very much.

Yeah that doesn't sound like it's the best idea then.

I would ask in Ul'Dah but chances are people will want money or something for their time and I lack that too, lol. But I guess it's worth a shot!

It's definitely worth a try. Not everyone will want something in return.
I think there are many people who would just be happy to help in this situation.
