    The Cure: A Marauder's Remedy

The MRD class is not broken.....it's just a little sick.
But fear not, I believe there is an easy antidote for what ales us.

I don't think our problem lies in the attack delay or damage output. Adjusting some of our less than perfect abilities would be nice, but I don't see it needed for MRD.

I believe our "sickness" and the cure to it is very simple.
Please show your support and get behind requesting the Dev Team to reduce the recast time on Broad Swing from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.
That alone will allow MRD to function as they should.

Broad Swing is just as vital to the MRD role as Multishot is to ARC.
Please allow other classes to thrive in their role the same way you have allowed ARC to.

P.S. Please take away ARC's ability to parry attacks, it's a big slap in the face, so lets be fair.

Until they add a fight or instance where you will be fighting 5+ mobs for an extended amount of time (15min+), I don't really see a reason to reduce the timer on Broad Swing. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind it being lower, but I don't think it is necessary.

didn't they just release dungeons, oh wait no one kills the mobs, lol.

on a serious note, if your ranking in the dungeon a 15 sec timer would be nice.

15 sec is too long IMO. Broad swing should follow weapon delay.

Actually 15 seconds isn't that long.
Here's a simple setup to show 15 seconds isn't too short and neither is it too long.

You approach 3 mobs(could be leve, raid, or farming, whatever), they could be together already or if not you could pull them with Warmonger and you start off with Broad Swing, hit Invigorate, then follow it up with Full Swing. By this time you should have well over 1000TP and rising, maybe even 1500 and Broad Swing has about 11 more seconds till it's back up. Next you buff up with Raging Strike and Still Precision and let them have it with Brandish. You've got more then their attention at this point and have dished out a good amount of damage on all the mobs and by this time they're continuing their assault on you. No problem you're already in Stead fast Stance and have more than 500 TP to let them have it with Skull Sunder. So next you Buff up with Ferocity, Hawk's Eye, and Bloodbath to maintain your advantage over them. Proceed with Skull Sunder and now you've got 4 more seconds till Broad Swing is back up. This is a good time to rebuff or buff Foresight and Featherfoot if you didn't prior to the battle and Don't forget about Heavy Swing! Guess what? Broad Swing is back up! Hit them with Broad Swing and you should have plenty of TP to play with at this point from Invigorate and all the damage they have done to you. So if you need to maintain hate, now's a good time for Storm's Path. If you're on a leve or solo you may want to burn them out with weapon skills like Brutal Swing/Branish, Skull Sunder, and then Heavy Trammel.
I believe in those 20 seconds or so of fighting, MRD has not only been able to tank and maintain hate, but has also out damaged everyone else in killing those 3 mobs.

So a quick run down of that is:
Run up or Pull with Warmonger
    0.0 seconds Auto Attack
    1.0 seconds Broad Swing
    1.5 seconds Invigorate
    2.5 seconds Full Swing
    3.0 seconds Raging Strike
    3.5 seconds Still Precision
    5.0 seconds Brandish
    5.5 seconds Auto Attack
    6.0 seconds Ferocity
    6.5 seconds Hawk's Eye
    7.0 seconds Bloodbath
    8.5 seconds Skull Sunder
    9.5 seconds Heavy Swing
    10.0 seconds Foresight
    10.5 seconds Featherfoot
    11.0 seconds Auto Attack
    12.0 seconds Haymaker/Jarring Strike
    13.0 seconds Fracture
    14.0 seconds wait a second
    15.0 seconds Broad Swing
    16.5 seconds Branish/Brutal Swing
    18.0 seconds Skull Sunder
    19.0 seconds Heavy Trammel

That's a rough estimate I thought up, and I'd really have to test and fine tune it for time accuracy. But the main point here is that you don't need to spam Broad Swing over and over again for MRD to do his job nor should the recast be so long that the ability goes ignored. We should be watching Broad Swing's recast count down just like ARC does with its 15 sec recast on Multishot cause it's that vital.

Broad Swing is the means by which we tank, do damage, build TP and build hate.
