How to make a player rage: Use Rescue

I'm left wondering why this is the DPS section but okay.

From a healer point of view: Rescue is a double edged sword. Most of its issues comes from server ticks and it not working when you press the dang button. So this is what can happen: you press the button and it doesn't go off in time so the person dies anyway or gets a vuln stack which actually punishes the healer for other people messing the mechanics; you save them and they walk back into bad / you save them and they might appreciate you; you were actually wrong and accidentally pulled people into bad.
Or you know.. you do it on purpose to troll but I normally see this amongst friends.

As a DPS: i rarely had it being used on myself when it did happen i've mostly appreciated it since people normally attempt to save others. it used to? save you from bad after using LB (it has a ridiculously long animation). the one time i didn't appreciate it i ended a friendship over it so there's that.

My experience out there in the PF wilds is that Rescue is rarely used but then again this might be an EU thing. Wouldn't surprise me since there is soooo much stuff i see online about this game that I don't see in the EU servers so I take it as mostly NA-centric takes.

Extremely well put, however sadly trolling is not used exclusively amongst friends- at least not in NA- which is likely these type of threads pop up from time to time.

Are you accounting the fact that especially online (and when driving funnily enough) people tend to assume malicious intent when other people mess up?

I have seen and personally have been accused of trolling often when using rescue and I have never had that intention. /shrug

But NA is wild so who knows.
