How do I spend more than 1 hour doing content in this game?

Remember when Eureka/Bozja came out, and people derided them because they were grindy and boring? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Who would've thought back then that they'd now be heralded as missing, essential content like forgetting an essential nutrient as part of complete balanced breakfast.

If someone suggested that 6 years ago, you'd been laughed out of the forums. Guess folks truly don't know what they have until it's gone.

Either that, or they look at that content with the thickest of rose tinted glasses. Maybe somehow both.

Then where was this group 5 years ago to defend that position? Where were you? Guarantee it wasn't on this board lauding how great the content was and asking for more of it. That left the few brave souls that did try to defend it (or at least parts of it) being dismissed as corporate bootlickers that want people to leave the billion dollar company alone.

Maybe if people came here to praise the content they liked as vehemently as they whined about content they hated, they wouldn't be so quick to completely ditch content. Maybe. Who's to say? It never happens. This is internet, after all. Unless it comes in the form of a cat video, only negativity is allowed.

You wanna know what I was doing when people were on the forums complaining about eureka when it first released………playing eureka because I liked it and enjoyed playing it

And since I finished I do praise field content, almost religiously. When I wasn’t playing it I was def ending it, not sure what else you want me to do. Back in 2021 I had the moniker of the field content annoyance on the forums

I think the conundrum here, is you can hate them, and herald them as relatively boring, whilst still acknowledging the value that it has to the overall state of the game. e.g., after having done every single relic from Eureka and Bozja, I still view the core content as just being FATE heavy, so at this point I am probably going to find it boring. Of course, it has large scale raids, solo battles and Critical Engagements, but FATEs are still rooted heavily in that overall experience, and if you have done Eureka/Bozja that much then it is not nearly going to retain that same amount of intrigue to that single player. But in the same veil, it is one of the few pieces of content that actually brings a large number of players together, so there is value in that even if a lot of those people do find it boring.

This is the boat I fall into, and I don't think neither of these thoughts are contradictory to the other.
