How do I spend more than 1 hour doing content in this game?

Don't know about that one, since the game has had 30 million registered players in total but only has 1-2 million concurrent subscribers at best according to the most accurate estimates. Turns out at least 28 million registered players are not playing anymore. Here's a fun fact: the venn diagram circle of the people who never return is within the circle of those who unsubscribe at any point. Everyone that posts on the forum will be in it one day, including you. Bon voyage!

The only thing that bothers me when those threads show up, is that absolutely no one has ever things to recommend at current content.

Everytime, people just say: "Go do this content of 10 years ago!" and I get it. It is relevant, it can be fun, but it is not fresh.

And this lack of "fresh" doesn't make it enticing. It is the formula o XIV, but it is an absolute bother of mine that you are meant to *not* spend time in the current new expansion you just bought.

Because often there is nothing to do. No gameplay, anywhere, only in older content to revisit.

I really hope SE shake the foundations someday and make a new expansion worth of being bought.

Well you and others are in luck! New content just released today that can occupy you for at least 1-2 months and maybe more! If you don't meet the pre-requisite to get into it, you can do the previous content which is still current over the course of a week to 1month! All content from the current expansion.

What got you so emotional about Nov 25th? It can't be my one reply to you and surely you haven't been going through my posts and gotten wound up by yourself? If that's the case I'm flattered I guess.

I'd like to remind you that the topic is how to spend more than one hour in this game and my anecdote was alluding to the fact that it's easy for players to do that if the gameplay loop is actually enjoyable. It has never been about the content and achievements people have done or have yet to do, but whether it is fun to do them in the first place. I suppose I should have made that clearer so the people who aren't quick thinkers can keep up with the conversation.

Well you and others are in luck! New content just released today that can occupy you for at least 1-2 months and maybe more! If you don't meet the pre-requisite to get into it, you can do the previous content which is still current over the course of a week to 1month! All content from the current expansion.

At best, Extremes. I do not have people to do it, nor clear Savage since I -- again -- do not have people to do it. Nor I do Party Finder.

I should just be playing MOBA or an Online Shooter at this point, same vibe.

Both points are not incompatible and when he says to play other games it is quite clear that he also implies "but please stay subbed".
