Look in the Party Finder menu and see if anyone is recruiting for something you find fun.

COME TRY PVP
Ranked season is going on right now, and we've got tournaments/custom games going on every week. It's all I've been doing since 7.1 launched.
I do pvp stuff -- twitch.tv/gidsonBrand
"Have you done [content] from half a decade ago?" Isn't a suggestion., it's just y'all doing unpaid damage control for SE.
Y'all know (well, pre-endwalker players) that today's current endgame content is the most barebones it's ever been, but you mask it with "no no, there's that big thing they did 6 years ago, how can you say there's no content?"
Eureka and Bozja have become a sort of smokescreen the super fanboys can use whenever someone points out the lack of things to do in today's ffxiv. Special mentions to:
"omg did you even solo all 3 deep dungeons on every job"
"i checked your achievements and you don't have 5,000 wins! you just don't WANT to do content!"
Ranked pvp is the best way to appreciate the easy, casual content this game has to offer. You'd want to do something chill after getting blown up from 100 to 0. Hopefully on tuesday the pvp experience gets better tuned.

Mount farming is not half a decade ago, especially the speen, lmao. and before you retorted, i choose this just because the OP specifically said haven't done with but chose not to.
If a product ceases providing an adequate return on the money you put into it, you should cease putting money into it. I don't know why people give MMOs a pass on this.
"But Im invested!" - if you aren't getting back at least what you're putting in, that's a bad investment. Throwing good money after bad isn't going to help.
"But I got friends!" - and if they are your friends, we live in the age of instant video and audio communications. You can still talk even if you quit. If they don't want to talk cause you quit, hate to break it to you, but those aren't friends. They're coworkers.
'I have good memories!" - Awesome! Quitting won't take those away from you, and you can be thankful to the game without being beholden to it. Besides, one day the game will be shut down, and there will be nothing but good memories. So if it's only giving you bad ones now, why shouldn't that day be today instead of 20 years from now?
"I'm addicted, and complaining on the forums is the only way to feel good about it" - Well, I suppose the first step is admitting you have a problem.
