    Interphos (Extreme) strains my eyes.

There are a number of visual effects in this fight that hurt and/or strain my eyes, and a few of my friends share this experience. In ascending order of severity, these effects are

-The floor effect during Aethertithe (Can be mitigated by angling the camera up)
-Absolute Authority's repeated party-wide attacks. The flashing waves of glitchy/distorted red light strain my eyes, but it's fortunately only a few seconds, once per run.
-The flashing static coming out of the elemental phases. This one's pretty major - if I don't fully close my eyes for a couple seconds the three or four times this plays throughout the fight, I'm liable to get a headache. Especially after a couple of runs.

Hopefully this can be addressed somehow? The third one is especially bad - the static effect on its own would be a slightly uncomfortable but fine - the fact that it pulses brightly a couple of times really makes it bad. If we get more fights with this glitchy aesthetic, I hope the visual effects aren't quite so extreme.

Also, while I'm here: Tower at Paradigm's Breach has a filter over the screen for like 2/3 of the raid, which, combined with the completely featureless white terrain in those sections, has been a source of eye strain for years.

An option to tone down or disable certain screen-covering effects would do a lot for accessibility!

I think more accessibility is something everyone should consider when developing anything or running anything, but the truth is there are so many different sorts of possible disabilities that accounting for all of them can be challenging even just due to awareness. For example, Yoshi-P changed the Sage icon due to some people finding lots of holes close together problematic, and I wasn't aware that was a thing, so just awareness of all the different disabilities is itself a problem for any developer.

But I do see color blindness, motion sickness and migraines as the most common ones raised so better support for those conditions would be good.

Occasionally, people just struggle with things like memory or mechanics but changing those would fundamentally change the game.

This should be an option nowadays, absolutely.
With each new expansion, bosses attacks gets more and more flashy. And this is a good thing!... For a couple of times to see when you run new duty for the first time, adds some "oomph" to the attack itself.

But seeing it for 100th time when progging/farming gets a little too much for the eyes. I would like an option akin battle effects for party members (All/Limited/None). Limited has reduced flash and simplified animations, None - just markers and numbers, bare bones to understand the mechanic.

The FFXI raid is the first time I’ve had to turn off party member/allied effects because I literally could not see any of the AoEs through the ridiculous amount of particle effects. Though I can already hear all the people screeching ‘sKiLl iSsuE’
