But it doesn't change the fact that SE has struggled to do something for 11 years that an online MOBILE game (which happens to be a remake of the same game) is probably going to achieve. If it does, it'll show that when other developers are faced with the exact same challenge making the exact same game, they don't have this issue.

It remains to be seen if they will have restrictions on it in a similar fashion, but I just have a feeling they won't have these issues unless SE forces them to so that it doesn't raise questions.

Though I don't like to be critical, this is an obvious issue they've had plenty of time (11 years) and opportunity (Island Sanctuary, apartments) to solve and not done so. So I just can't help but point out the irony that a mobile game may potentially do it before they can.

You know what? It'll probably work better and not need glitches. Apparently they've been working on it for 5 years, which is a lot longer than SE had for ARR.
That's the thing even if it's not the reasons above it will be due to Ps4, Ps5, "insert limitations excuse". Stupid problems that have existed since ARR and along the expansions baitbox, glamour limitations, Housing, extra retainers, increased inventory (cant load more assets BUT pay extra and we can make it possible with an extra saddlebag LOL) Even when they introduced apartments they said they could keep adding more as soon as they fill but on some servers they're at their limit too.
