I did this, and I also found 2 other people who said that deleting this folder (and starting from zero) fixed their game (one random guy on reddit and another random guy from JP with at least 4 years in between their advices).

    Right now Im rolling back to an old GPU driver (566.03) while waiting to FFXIV launcher to check all my files after deleting that folder I just mentioned above.

    How is it going on your end right now?

    will try this myself here since i am also having this problem as well. been having this happen since 7.0 and has only gotten worse with 7.1 and will see if this works as well. its starting to get frustrating with this always crashing my game every time

    ill have to try and find an older driver to use, i tried doc\mygame\ff14 folder delete, i have a new one but it didnt fix anythng.
