Probably gonna be my first and last post ever......

SE and FF14 already have safe guards against people who are constantly "offended" by language. Their is a built in default profanity filter because for those of who CANNOT stand "language". In addition, their is an entire subsection to censor "phrases" who those who are EXTREMELY offended OFTEN. And if that is NOT enough, for those who are offended by EVERYTHING; they can just turn off the general chat altogether and not play with anyone. Yet, SE and FF14 still needs a report system that can ban ANYONE for ANYTHING only based upon one random "offensive" report that CANNOT be defined? Wanna ruin a MMO for EVERYONE? Put in a TOS system that allows any rando report troll to suspend and ban players for NO real reason.

Was grinding 5x characters on 5x worlds as usual and, not talking to anyone as normal, then get rando suspended on 10/2024 for 10 days then on 11/2024 for 20 days; robbing me permanently of the moogle event + PVP series 6 rewards I was grinding. Most the time do not talk to anyone for anything unless I got questions. Was grinding 5x characters on 10/2024 and 1 week before event ends get randomly suspended for "language"?

What language? No clue....and SE cannot answer that in any way shape or form to protect report trolls. SO, I take EXTREME measures to not talk to ANYONE after the 10/2024 suspension.....3 weeks later and 20 days before PVP series 6 ends, moogle event ends, Halloween event ends + blundervill ends....get suspended for 20 days randomly AGAIN? For "harassment"? HOW? I was grinding 5x characters on PVP series 6 CC casual where you cannot talk and MGP GATES where you do not have time to talk.
Asked SE and FF14 GM's to see if these were revenge report trolls or just trolls in general? NO definitive answer at ALL multiple times and multiple emails and multiple calls now.

Emailed my original support ticket....ignored....
Emailed new ticket 2x times....ignored.....
Phone called to ask to responded to original + new ticket.....ignored
Use IN-GAME to contact GM's.....told to open a support ticket, already did that...ignored

All in all, next time I get randomly reported; I will get my account permanently suspended for no reason except random report trolls, a heavy vague censorship TOS, and SE/FF14 support system that is a unaccountable joke.

WTF am I suppose to do?
I have tried NOT using ANY chat at ALL....still get reported and suspended.....
Asked MULTIPLE TIMES NOW SE/FF14 support for help to prevent my permanent ban and approve and clarify the language I cannot and can use....
and have gotten NO help at all; in fact completely ignored.....

Yeah this game got content problems but, this EXTREME TOS censorship that have let trolls taken over has destroyed this community. Now most the 90% the MMO players are quitting and all that is left is the part-timer raid community and report trolls.

The reports made in the game are checked and investigated by actual real people. They have access to your chat history and everything that you say in the game at any given time.

I find it really hard to believe you didn't do anything wrong, especially if you got a 10-day time out which is very serious.

Edit: Xeno got banned because of something related to his stream which is fair because he is a huge influence in the FF14 community and one of the more popular streamers with a large audience. SE will care about those and also it's a behavior adopted by other companies as well e.
League of Legends penalized and suspended a handful of Pro-players for stuff they did or said while on their stream.

If you live in a GDPR (or similar) applicable country you could try requesting all the data they have on you, that might include concrete reasons for suspensions.
If you have no legal way to force them to disclose things you're unlikely to ever get concrete reasons, as is pretty typical with these affairs.


Possible things that might have been actioned even when not actively using chat include search/adventurer plate comments, PF listings, character names, portraits (no really, though you'd have to put effort into that and would likely know exactly what did it) and gameplay (and that there is a right can of worms).

That's why you needed to begin your post with the chud-typical "if you are offended, just use the word filter". As if that technical possibility absolves you from behaving like a decent human being.

I don't buy it, you have done something that is strictly against the rules, or you would not be getting this kind of treatment and that is end of story... using an exploit, third party stuff and more and they somehow find the evidence for it... then well you asked for it.

Since you mentioned that you were grinding PvP, you may have been reported for spamming things like "Great match" when your team is losing, for example. That is considered toxic and disruptive. They actually patched that for the 7.1 update so you can no longer use that chat command until after the match is over. Sounds like that may have been what happened. Taking it one step further, you likely were the sole reason it was patched xD.

All of that being said, it's still very crappy that they aren't more upfront and transparent with you. Their customer service can be very hit or miss.
