I'm an omnicrafter/gather and I canceled my renewal today because I got so fed up with spending 80% of my time managing my inventory. I could barely manage and justify it with Endwalker, but all the new mats and equipment with Dawntrail put me so far over what I could possibly hold that even the extra retainers couldn't help, and then paying double over the regular subscription fee with 10 retainers just started really grinding my gears because we're being charged to fix a problem that the devs created.

I post about this all the time. Inventory management needs a complete overhaul. Materia and dye needs their own separate storage. Raid loot that can be exchanged for items needs its own storage. Every expansion should of given a free retainer. The key items space which nobody uses needs converted to normal spaces.

All gear and glams should use the system that WoW uses where any gear you get is saved and you can get them whenever you want to free up storage space. I too have 10 retainers and it's a lot to manage on top of housing things and more. They also need to increase the drop rate of the stone partitions and neon lights, I have not seen a single one of those since DT came out and it's been close to 3/4 of a year and I have not seen any of them on two characters with all max level retainers split 5 DoW/M and 5 DoL on both characters. The drop rate is atrocious and needs a significant drop rate increase, especially for those of us that are paying for 10 retainers total. They should increase the drop rate for the more retainers you have to make them worthwhile additions to my $192.94 subscription fee every six months.

Square Enix doesn't care, They'll quadruple down look at 7.2 already has tons of stuff people DO NOT WANT and have been VERY vocal about not wanting.

They need to make craftable bags, 140 IS NOT sufficient.

My inventory gets near full and my motivation to play leaves.

MMO take so much time. With so many games coming out every month and so many free games between epic, prime, PS plus. I could never play the same game twice and never run out.
On that note, I'm still having fun playing FFXIV.
