    25 (Mostly) Little Things - ideas to improve the overall PVP experience

    I play CC primarily, I think it's a ton of fun albeit frustrating at times. Outside of all of the discussion regarding balance and how the feel of PVP has changed I've also jotted down a bunch of (mostly) little ideas that've been on my mind that I think would improve the overall experience.
    1. Disable camera collision with all walls and obstacles on PvP maps.
    2. Pressing Sprint while Sprint is already active should not disable it (or it should have a cooldown on disabling it similar to Guard).
    3. Your own HP bar should render on top of everything else on screen.
    4. MP and LB gauge should be displayed alongside/below unit HP bars.
    5. Heat Wave and Oasis should counter each other completely rather than the Damage Over Time occurring first (if you have <5000 HP and both effects then you will die).
    6. Audio feedback when you press Guard/Purify and they're on cooldown.
    7. Audio feedback when you press Guard/Purify and they activate.
    8. The scoreboard should show parallel tracks to clearly indicate who has made further progress and it should be crystal clear when a game is 'tied' at 50/50 or if one team is about to win. I find it impossible to tell in the heat of the moment.
    9. Party List respawn timers should include the (in my opinion too long) additional black screen and raise time.
    10. The icon marking your target should be bigger, bolder and easier to visually follow (especially when contending with markers or trying to rapidly tab target).
    11. 'Mini' should have an additional vfx of some kind (because I genuinely sometimes mistake Lalafells for mini'd opponents lol).
    12. Wolves Den should have some moving target dummies (eg: running and sprinting along set paths)
    13. You should be able to set focus target on opponents at the start of a match even though they're out of range.
    14. Return should be enabled for CC.
    15. Party List sorting should allow a PVP configuration that doesn't affect PVE (and ideally allows you to sort by job rather than role).
    16. Radial AoEs should consistently respect line of sight (or at least communicate if they do not). Previously Superflare did not and at least AST Lord of Crowns does not currently, not sure what else.
    17. HP bars should change color/appearance when <50% and <25% to indicate execute (Ninja and Reaper) thresholds.
    18. Screen overlay effects or enhanced visual feedback to know when you are affected by guard, stun, silence, bind, etc. Sometimes I genuinely do not know if Guard is active or that I'm disabled amid vfx.
    19. Some kind of simple graphic representing damage done/healing done on the other team mid-match to provide 'threat assessment' so to speak.
    20. Effects that counter or have a counter 'proc' (Nebula, Wreath of Ice, Chiten, Forte) should have a persistent visual for their duration or at least be more recognizable in the buff bar (order, size, maybe some kind of universal '!' icon).

    1. Dancer LB should have clear friendly/enemy coloring or vfx.
    2. Sage LB effects should apply on-enter and remove on-exit rather than on-tick.
    3. Guardian should reduce teammates damage taken to 1.
    4. Sky Shatter's shield should apply when using Sky High.
    5. I don't know how you fix this one but Reaper Fear is the most anticlimactic way to both win and lose a match.

    Would like the following for CC KO: Start with an out for the count debuff that's the penalty time you get. You spend 3-5 seconds on the ground, then the fade to black and revive at base, then when the debuff is removed you can join.

    This would keep the normal KO penalty time in CC, but not the punishment for slower system/slower internet on the fade to black part.

    Most of this sounds pretty good to me. Especially the objective tracker on screen, I'm in crystal and I know I probably should know better but I suck anyway, and I can't still make heads nor tails of how to read it, and there is no way to tell who's winning clearly.

    Question though: what's the idea behind that guardian change? Crowd control?

    Nice list. #10, 12, and 13 appeal to me. For 10, Inalways use a square marker since it feels easiest to see, but bigger would be welcomed. 12…the wolves den dummy needs a complete overhaul. Certain skills don’t even register on the current ones. In truth, the training dummies need an entire mode devoted exclusively just for them that can be adjusted for individual jobs/player needs. And 13. . .since we can’t talk at the start, the ability to mark a priority target right out the gate could effect the entire matches momentum.

    I just really dislike Elixir usage during Guardian, I think it's so lame lol. The CC immunity is fine, the damage invulnerability is fine, you could even attach a heal or heal-over-time to it to 'replace' elixir and emphasize the whole 'support' / 'saving you' idea behind it. I just don't think it should let you stand in the middle of dozens of attacks and sip your tea for a full heal and MP restoration without retreating at all.

    I think you can use
    /focustarget <e1>
    (or <e2> <e3> etc.)

    #1 oh my god I can't count the number of times on my screen I'm fighting and suddenly EXTREMELY DETAILED WALL.

    Also stop it with the drawn-out animation locks. Bard out there doing his thing, gets absolutely curb stomped and team loses the buff because he's stuck playing the harp. Same with BLM doing the purple rawr. It looks cool but we're fighting here.
