This was a very expensive misunderstanding for me and incredibly disappointing.
When I first heard that dyes aren't a thing with the outfit glams, I KNEW that some people would not read the full notes and do this (you shouldn't have to). I am sorry it happened to you. It doesn't help that the warning text for adding items to the outfit is the same as the warning message for adding to the glamour dresser in general, specifying "removing customizations including glamours, crests, signatures, materia, and most aetherial bonuses" but not mentioning dyes. Because of this, I thought it might work with dyes and tested it on dye I didn't care about first to confirm before doing anything else. The warning messages should not be the same if they are removing different customizations.

Plus, a lot of people who probably are eagerly adding their pieces to the outfits may not even notice right now that the dyes are gone, which is another sad part. There was not enough clarity in game. I wouldn't have thought to check if I didn't see a couple videos beforehand mention it.
