    Outfit Glamour Dye Feedback

I think that being unable to save the dyes on items stored as an outfit is a deal breaker for this feature. The only dyes that I feel the need to "save" in this way are expensive dyes or dyes where I know it's my preference for that item and I don't want to have to reapply it every time, as that would be rather frustrating. I do not find applying dye in a glamour plate an acceptable solution because then I can never change that glamour plate's position, and I cannot try out different combinations of glamour with that dye without wasting real (in the case of jet black and pure white) money.

An acceptable workaround for this would be, after saving the outfit as a set, being able to go into the outfit within the glamour dresser and apply dyes that would save there. This would be better than nothing.

If you guys find a way to do this, I also think it'd be a good idea to allow the saving of multiple dyes on an item in the glamour dresser, so that after using a dye on that slot for a specific item, you could then freely swap between those dyes when on a glamour plate or applying a glamour. This would fix the existing issue I have that I already mentioned earlier, where when dying an item on a glamour plate I can never change that plate or have multiple plates with that version of the item without consuming another dye. This would also save us time as we wouldn't have to track dyes down each time we want to use them, or use up all our saddlebag storage holding dyes.

Please continue with the QOL changes related to glams. Overall, the outfit glamour is a great feature, but please expand on this to make it even more useful and user friendly. I believe in you guys to find a solution that works.

    Thanks for reading!

Adding my agreement. I think there's the start of a good feature here, but it needs improvements to get there. Dye support on outfit glamours would help make the negatives of this system more tolerable, but right now the implementation of the outfit glamour system has been incredibly frustrating and feels punishing to people who use rare and expensive dyes. I turned some gear with jet black and pure white dyes into outfit glamours because, while losing the dye was not ideal, I was under the wrong impression that I would be able to dye the pieces again after they were combined. Instead this meant I lost the dyes and can't even reapply them without using them on a glamour plate or dying them each use, which just isn't a practical solution when talking about dyes that go for over 600,000 gil a piece on my data center. This was a very expensive misunderstanding for me and incredibly disappointing. The other option is simply to not use this feature because it costs players time combining outfits and money losing dyes to the degree that the space saved is not worth the cost, which I don't think was the goal in introducing a feature like this. I hope the developers can consider adding dye support to outfit glamours and continue making other necessary improvements to the glamour system.

When I first heard that dyes aren't a thing with the outfit glams, I KNEW that some people would not read the full notes and do this (you shouldn't have to). I am sorry it happened to you. It doesn't help that the warning text for adding items to the outfit is the same as the warning message for adding to the glamour dresser in general, specifying "removing customizations including glamours, crests, signatures, materia, and most aetherial bonuses" but not mentioning dyes. Because of this, I thought it might work with dyes and tested it on dye I didn't care about first to confirm before doing anything else. The warning messages should not be the same if they are removing different customizations.

Plus, a lot of people who probably are eagerly adding their pieces to the outfits may not even notice right now that the dyes are gone, which is another sad part. There was not enough clarity in game. I wouldn't have thought to check if I didn't see a couple videos beforehand mention it.
