Some Ixali quests even required having gathering jobs. It was a more experimental time for the game. The Ixali quests also required having a combat job leveled... because there was combat involved (example 1; example 2; I'm bet there are more, but I'm too lazy to check every quest).
We're the Warrior of Light. It's not a big ask to thwack a few mobs on out way to obtaining some crafting materials. It wouldn't be the worst if the same were true for the combat tribes.
Thank you, but my point isn't solely about the amount of combat quests, it's the amount of times I'm getting them and how extremely unengaging the others are. These are lazy, with the little substance in them you'd think it's being spent on some other worthwhile or engaging daily quests... Right?Reviewing the Arkasodara daily quests:There wasn't actually that much combat in the Arkasodara dailies…
- 1 out of 7 of the Friendly reputation quests involve combat.
- 1 out of 7 of the Trusted reputation quests involve combat.
- 2 out of 7 of the Respected reputation quests involve combat.
- 2 out of 7 of the Honored reputation quests involve combat.
Hell, I ranked up again today, means more quest in the pool to get them from and hopefully something improved, right? Nah, more "talk to npc and come right back with no further objective" quests, except this time instead of 1 npc, it was 3. I can't remember if any of the other combat beast tribes felt this low effort with their quests early on, even if they were tiresome back then.
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.
Yeah, I'm kinda confused why there is so little combat in the 'combat' society daily quests. Like I don't expect much, but it would be nice to fight more monsters or something. Y'know to like have a reason to press my level 90+/100 buttons or something.
today i learned that, if you do the same daylies a second time, some npcs say different things compared to the first time.
at least in the quest with the flyers in ok'bek'be.
still doesnt have anything to do with combat, but i like stuff like that very much.
I don't bother reading text unless the quest is unique. So basically I can read the content once every few days to over a week doing society quests.
This forum shows ppl do not look at live letter. Didn't yoshi-p once say ppl hated the msq shoving lore of tribes in they face. So they regret not making it a SIDE QUESTION and boom we got it as a side quest.... XD

The whole expansion feels like a sidequest rather than an actual effort from the story and dev team.
PLEASE BUY 50000 DOLLAR CAMPING GEAR AND 2000 DOLLAR PARIS-MADE BRACELETS TO REP YOUR GRAND COMPANY (oh whoops. Grand companies dont matter in the story anymore)
