[Question/Feedback] Armoire; cannot store upgraded versions of storable items?

    Hello everyone,

    Intorduction:
With the new Outfit-Glamour Update just having launched,
(and I love it so much, thank you!! I cannot hope enough for this system to be expanded to other outfitsets ^^'),
I took this as an opportunity to ask/give feedback about this Armoire thing I had been wondering for a while.

I have seen a few posts about the Armoire but nothing specifically to my case, so I opened a new topic. If I am mistaken or this shouldn't be here, pls correct me, I am new to the Forums, thank you!

    Main:
Why are we able to store the Level 50 Class Gear for DoW/DoM and the Level 50 Main Hand Items for DoL/DoH, but not the dyeable versions of the further and the upgraded versions of the latter?

    Examples:
I can only speak for ARR, as I have yet to get to the other expansions but to give an example:
Gallant Coronet, Gallant Surcoat, Gallant Gauntlets, Gallant Cuisses and Gallant Sollerets can be stored in the Armoire. Their respective Augmented Version cannot.
Same goes for Ullikummi (the Lvl 50 CRP Main Hand), it can be stored in the Armoire, but the Supra and Lucis version cannot.

    Arguments:
    1. I understand for ex. for the Relic Weapons, that it is not possible due to their unique stats, which will disappear as soon as it is put into the Glamour Dresser/Armoire.
(We could argue about the necessity of it with outdated Relic Gear but personally I think thats fine as is)...
    2. ...and I am aware, that Square Enix tries to keep data to be saved per Character/Account as small as possible.

But in this case, I would imagine it to have no impact to both arguments above and I cannot think of any other arguments, why it is implemented like this.
    1. The upgraded versions have no unique stats as Relic Weapons do
    2. I cannot think of data bloat considering the upgradeable versions are made from the base version

I know, that you can buy the base version from the calamity salvager (I think he's called?) so my thought was, that maybe they wanted people to not store every version in the Armoire.
However, considering that all items in the armoir are limited to one per item, shouldn't it be no issue to make it in a way, that the upgradeable versions are considered as "the same item" by the system?

    Sum-up:
So Question: see above, why is it like this?
Feedback: isn't it sensible to be able to store the upgradeable versions in the armoire and have them considered as "the same item" like the base version? This wouldn't change anything with the data save issue, as I am originally even able to store the base version in the armoire...
(... and I could happily go on farming relics without having to fear my retainers to kill me in my sleep x'D)

Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
    Kind regards

I’m happy to see they’re making upgrades to both the Armoire and the Glamour Dresser, but this is something that needs a fix. Because I’m sure, you and I would much rather save the dyeable versions in the Armoire!

And now that they have a better system for separating outfits in both the Armoire and GD, it’s way past time that the AF sets for 60, 70, 80, 89/90 and 99/100 should be able to be put in the Armoire!

I was really hoping that once we stored the set, that the versions that appear in the dresser would then be dyable (but still remove the dye when taken out of the dresser again).
I hope they find a way to do that, otherwise the amount of space this has saved is more than worth the dyes I lost.

Would be nice if they could find a way to let us add all pieces of a set to an outfit (ex. when one set has two top or bottom variants) instead of expecting us to either only have one, or to get the shoes/hat/gloves twice to store both versions. But usually that's only just one extra slot (one that can still be dyed because it's not stored as an outfit) so it's not so bad, and I understand why they did it this way.

Being able to store AF past lvl 50 would be huge though, dyable or not.
