Current state of Viera and Hrothgar

It clips with alot tbh, it clips with my miqos regular ponytail as well. But I agree, at this point just release the damn hats even with clipping...

I genuinely don't understand why they won't just release the hats at this point, even the few ones that we have are clipping with most hairs, so might as well embrace the janky clipping. We won't mind as much, we'd prefer to have bad hats than NO hats at all.

But I doubt professionals would be as swamped as they pretend to be, when amateur modders can have hats out and ready at the gates with mere DAYS of work. And we're talking about passionate, but still hobbyist individuals here, as opposed to professionals hired by a multi billion company.

Though to be honest "busy with new gear" is quite a lazy answer.. Have you seen some of the stuff they're putting inside the game? There is so much aweful gear and in each expansion is always recycled gear just with different colors.. You can't tell me that it's so much work to copy/paste gear designs and change the colors..
Cause like you said yourself.. modders already did that.. So it is possible..
It's been almost 6 years and there is no sight that it will ever be fixed..

And then there's the issue of hairs.
Female hrothgar released with 5 hairs. Five. You could literally count them on the fingers of one hand. Even worse, we STILL have hairs locked to certain faces, for whatever reason.

Locking certain features behind certain faces is a massive red flag..
I'm playing as a male Viera since Endwalker and I just want some nice facial hair for my character..
But to get that facial hair (and the options you have doesn't even look that great) you have to use a certain face..
I really tried and I don't like the other 3 male Viera faces.. For me it's only Face 1..
Face 2 & 3 are looking like femboys (that's totally fine if you like that) and Face 4 is the "old man" Face..
All of them have some kind of facial hair..
Only Face 1, the most "neutral" one doesn't.. Why?

At least implement the cash shop/exclusive hats (Matoya, etc) that cost REAL LIFE MONEY on top of the ACTIVE COST OF THE MONTHLY SUB AND Expansion releases.

And don't forget the event exclusive hats.. I wanna wear my slime king crown for fun..

I know it took a long time, but I want to thank the dev team for finally adding more hats for both Hrothgar and Viera!
This is great news! Time to celebrate and eagerly wait for 7.3! It comes out in Early August

I'm surprised that took them this long to release them and not even add proper holes to the headgear. What was being worked on, then? Just discussions about whether or not they should let a toggle happen and designing a button for it?


Regardless, I'm happy that this is happening. I do wonder which ones are not in the list, because it seems as if it's not everything.

I am going to guess the AF hats, the night cap and the Valentine's cap (and all that use a similar model) and Matoya's hat. I don't think we will get all at once, but more like a hair situation in which we get a few every patch
