So it's likely based on the hairstyle and the current head you use.

I think it's more likely the hair you're using just conveniently covering it with all the loose strands flying all over, but it's probably firmly planted on your Hrothgar's skull

I think this is due to some hair style having diff dimensions. Even on a lalafell the hair shown in the screenshot where it clips it is taller than other hair styles. I haven't checked, but I suspect it probably clips for every race.

Edit: I just checked, it clips on my midlander with that hair too. It's not great, but I'll still take it. The general quality level has dipped low enough that they should just stop caring about hats clipping on the new races now. Just enable the hats.

My advice is, assuming you're in the end game, is to make a viera alt and mess around on it a bit to see how you feel about the limited hat options. If you can handle playing the game for a bit on that alt, then fantasia your main.

It clips with alot tbh, it clips with my miqos regular ponytail as well. But I agree, at this point just release the damn hats even with clipping...
