For me, the dumb thing is most of the work is already done in mods.

I'm not advocating using mods, but I would say: SE, just take a look at the mods, check if it's clean and if so, copy paste it. Or lift whatever files are relevant. Or offer to pay whoever's running that mod a modest sum. Work something out.

This is what pisses me off the most. It's already done, just QA it and add it to the base game already

When they add a new Race in WoW, you can wear all the past gear on it with no issues... even helms.. So why can't SE do it?

Because SE is a small indie company that cannot afford basic QoL for new developed races, duh
You can't expect a small indie publisher like Square Enix to put out as much stuff as BLIZZARD, now can you?

I would prefer for them to no longer release any new hairstyles until they complete all the compressed hairstyles for the viera/hrothgar default hairs if that's what it takes to get hats.

Considering the fact that (in my personal opinion) a lot of the hairstyles they port over to Hrothgar don't look that good anyways, I would not mind this whatsoever.

One of these days, they probably should provide one more subscription option that only lets you play Viera/Hrothgar but at slightly discounted fee. It’s ridiculous how Hroth/Viera mains are sentenced to a discounted races but pays the same sub rate as other.

The only way these greedy effs will make two sub fees is by making a p2w model where you need to pay more, not less. So everyone would be stuck playing as hroth/viera UNLESS you paid full access to the rest, not the other way around

Drachthyr do not display any gear at all. On the other beast races the foot gear is turned into ankle wraps while the head gear often looks horrendous with massive clipping issues.
