I genuinely wouldn't mind if my Matoya's Hat hid my hrothgar ears, as long as I got to wear it again.

That may be the dumbest thing I have read all day. Why should having a hat hide racial traits? Does that mean that unless I manually turn off all headgear I might go through the content and any new hat I equip will ruin my character? Players hated it when they hid ears from hairstyles, they would not accept hair, tail and ears being erased for a hat.
How about instead they actually try to, cause even modders can put a hat on a rabbit without sacrificing their ears, or a hat on a lion without removing the tail.
Instead of doing it the lazy way, how about they do it the right way so as to not make their workload double after the outcry over that BS and needing to remake everything. Let's not repeat the 6.2 fiasco.
And no that is not what anyone wants, you need to be willfully ignorant and purposely dumb to think that the crowd that wants hats what the abomination you have described.

I spent about 2 years playing my Hrothgar girl, Drauva Voryasch. I used a Viera with werewolf ears and decided to grind out a bunch of different glamours and hairstyles ahead of time. I knew that most (if not all) of the hairstyles would be current- but I was shocked at the sheer amount of hats I couldn't wear. Even hats from recent (Endwalker) content- and even hats that Male Hrothgar could wear!

Its absurd.

Will 7.2 have some extra hats (or hairs) for female Hrothgar? What do you think?
Will Yoshida announce something about it during the LL Part 2? Or will it still be some more "Please look forward to it" bs?

Sadly I think the clues pointing to some sort of announcement in 7.2 regarding hats for viera and hrothgar are just artistic liberties. It's been years. With nothing to show for it. The hrothgar art, while nice, is just art. The arcadion viera with the cowboy hat.. as someone else said looks like a cat boy with the bunny crown and gold saucer top. (Which I think is incredibly awful personally) Almost feels like a blatant troll attempt to viera players. I guess I'm just bitter at this point? Tired of all the beating around the bush and please look forward to it vague confirmations that it's coming. Just feel like it will never happen this late into the game. Of course i would love to be wrong! But the complete radio silence on all of this over the years just tells me they simply do not care.

The fact that DT artifact gear hats and new cash shop items don't even work shows it's not a priority.

If it's not this it will be something else. We should all be loudly demanding a better experience since our invested interest funds their whole ass company. I'm not going to settle for the minimum when they are capable of doing better and neither should anyone else. Roll over and keep your head in the sand if you want, at least some of us are fighting for this game to be better.
