Might as well just make the enemies and allies bots to at that point .Don't match premades with players who queue solo.
Remove Salted Earth.
Prevent players from putting markers on themselves or allies.
Prevent waymarks from being placed within 10 seconds of one another.
Disable sound effects from chat.
Bonus radical idea: don't match players with someone they blacklisted.
This would eliminate the imbalance premades introduce to FL.
I tried MCH a few months ago and concluded the most useful new skill would be "Skip Bioblaster"*Most* ranged got extra crowd control, MCH actually got *less* when they removed Heavy from Bioblaster while giving them no other CC.
Speaking of Bioblaster, it's become quite difficult to rotate off of it when all enemies are ranged (and thus won't get close enough), and it would be suicidal for MCH in particular to dive with zero defensive or mobility skills. I've actually been having more and more matches where I'm stuck on Bioblaster for lord knows how long because I literally can't use it, I also can't remember the last time I got to use Scattergun for the same reason. Oh, but they gave up back the Drill damage they took away ...even though the niche of being one of the only jobs with a Guard pierce got taken over by, well, every other job that was given one in 7.1.
Grand time to be a MCH main right now where we apparently suck in PVE *and* PVP.

MCH is very solid in CC right now. Even better with the Drill buff.*Most* ranged got extra crowd control, MCH actually got *less* when they removed Heavy from Bioblaster while giving them no other CC.

I do see what you mean with Bioblaster in FL, that's definitely a drawback (but no way you can't find a melee in the enemy teams to use it on and rotate...). I also understand the complaint about the LB, but on the other hand now you have ranged jobs everywhere, and that's literally free meals for MCH in FLs. And FMF is a superb tool to leech on assists and make the BH go high faster.
I'm relatively new to the game. Before 7.1 I was enjoying casual Frontline PvP (NA server Dynamis). Since the patch I've never been able to enter a battleground. Every time I queue the wait time is ALWAYS "More than 30 minutes", regardless of day of week or time of day. If I remain queued, that wait time never changes, even after 90+ to 250+ minutes. Can anyone suggest what's going on? At first I assumed there was a patch-driven season change and needed to give it a week or so to start a new season. That was five months ago. It's as if I'm alone in an empty queue.
Dynamis queues generally don't pop. You'd have better luck on a different DC (Primal is a good one).I'm relatively new to the game. Before 7.1 I was enjoying casual Frontline PvP (NA server Dynamis). Frontlines have and always will be a miserable experience. Vastly RNG based wins, very little skill expression, unimaginative maps and very little care out of the playerbase into winning.
People sure can enjoy it, but I can't wrap M head around the why. It's a flashy mess party.
And this comes from one that loved Cyrodiil in ESO and Epic BGs in WoW. XIV version of it is just absurd bland, it wasnt 7.1 fault at all.
