None of the developers care for feedback. This is just pure arrogance at a whole new level. They delayed the "PvP" update until 7.2 so we're stuck with whatever "This" is for the forseeable future. Same old maps. Same old problems, same lack of communication from those above. The only thing new here are the jobs that got butchered or buffed into the stratosphere.
Some things are better. I like there being more abilities that punch through guard and reduce its effectiveness. The general addition of more AoE I don't necessarily see as a negative, but its pushing the game towards meta stacking, and deathballing which I find just encourages brain dead "Follow the leader" gameplay.
A lot of the changes are absolute bullshit, to the point where you have to ask if the people making PvP have ever touched the mode in their lives. Monk has been completely gutted and thrown into the trash bin and set on fire. Gunbreaker and RDM no longer feel special, and what in the hells have they done with my Black mage? (These are just the jobs I've had time to play with. I'm sure theres even more f**** afoot on other jobs I don't usually play.) Nobody really should have been surprised by this. The warning signs that they had no idea what they are doing, and that they are incapable of making compelling, and enjoyable PvP has been there for quite awhile.
I don't like the direction that PvP is going, or the game in general. I am not the target audience for this game, and thats probably the case for a lot of us who genuinely enjoy PvP. I will be treating PVP as a daily roulette grind from here on out, probably as the devs intended. I don't enjoy playing it, and I don't have faith that either Yoshi P, the devs, or SE care for anything that has been said for years about this game mode, even the JP audience is ignored. There are better games which are more rewarding with my time and I will be spending my time on those titles instead.
