If you want the forums to be a happy go lucky circlejerk maybe petition square enix to stop sending people into this void of dead feedback for literally any problem with the game that isn’t RMT via their own in game systems

I'm paying a monthly service provided by SE, I respect their choice and freedom on creativity. If I don't like it, I unsubbed.

Plain & simple. Not pushing them to make the game I want. This is their game, they choice. I as player can choose to accept it and keep paying/playing or I can unsubbed and leave to play other games for entertainment. Why is it so difficult to understand this simple logic?

Because “you are playing the devs game if you don’t like it leave” isn’t “logic” it’s literally the antithesis of how a live service game works

I don't think unsubbing will help the game though... if a bunch of people did it en-mass for every single thing (some little/some large) that we hope to see fixed, there would be no FFXIV anymore, and people don't want to lose this game. We DO want to see it recapture glimmers of what it used to be in its hayday, and many are unsatisfied with parts of the game that mean a lot to them.

Let's not mince words though, there is a lack of content across the board these days (as has been the running theme for many expansions). If people don't express their displeasure, how will Square Enix, or even the player base itself work to form a consensus on what needs to be changed, and how. A good example is how some instances content is making people ill, just like how mount tilts made people ill... that's a worthy topic to discuss, as is our demands for more content (of all kinds), or the fact the jobs are being gutted left and right...

An imperfect, but perhaps thoughtful solution only comes about when SE and the fan base are on the same page... telling people to unsub would eventually kill this game with the amount of discontent floating around... that's the cold, hard, sad fact... if someone left over anything that upset them instead of attempting to find a common ground to change it, there would be no FFXIV players to even pay the sub, or play the game...

The entirety of Rival Wings didn't used to exist and Onsal Hakair didn't used to exist, so we still have a net gain. I think they are just building on Crystalline Conflict at the moment. We have been getting regular new maps for Crystalline Conflict since Endwalker release. Maybe at some point they will shift that focus to the other gameplay modes.

Yet since they made it we got ONE more Rival wings arena, with the first one being deactivated for YEARS. YEARS! There should be a new pvp mode/Arena every other patch, there should be a PVP Team thats main task is making more PVP stuff - and i say that as someone whos not heavily into pvp.

I feel like PvP arenas are fine being "the same but with a different kind of paint" so its not that monotonous - CC did that very well.
