This game is built on a engine that has so many limitations and changing that is basically remaking the game.

Chance they'll bork it up if course but given their record I feel it is a safe bet they'll grant it gameplay, and it'll be for everyone. I hope does so well that SE has to look in the mirror. Other MMOs also have better systems but usually don't stand near FFXIV in comparison for other reasons, only thing I feel SE's does well for housing is the objects /look/ great.

Hopefully the systems they added recently are a sign they're trying to fix it (interior controls could be that).

To be honest, all things considered, it would be criminal if it wasn't. I mean, if they have any sense (NOT a given) they'll have looked at what does and doesn't work with housing in other games and taken notes.

A lot of the higher ups that only care about money are still there even after the buyout. Recent patches have been rushed out as awful buggy messes and the cash shop is just as bad as FF14's.

Very much so. Blizzard's been so stingy with giving out cosmetics in WoW and OW2 lately and much rather sell them for real life money, they'll definitely monetize the hell out of housing.

Quite the opposite to your opposite I'm sure. They're a corporation but still doing better than what was before, with better direction even if more in tune with bs trends and the like.

More information is required to determine whenever that is a proper housing the players receive, or just a repacked garrison system.
For now, it does feel a bit like a 'Break glass in case of critical player trust' - moment.
