Can't purchase apartment after meeting all criteria

Hi all!
Fairly new player here, trying to purchase an apartment in Ishgard, and no matter which division I go to the game says unavailable to purchase in red every time I click on 'Yes' for the 500,000 gil tab.

Not in any FC, do not have a house, there're many empty apartments in all the divisions I visited, got the first lieutenant rank, completed the MSQs, sufficient funds.
I'm not sure if it's a bug or anything -- please send help I'm very confused.

Did you do the housing quest? I think you have to do the housing quest for the corresponding district you want to get an apartment in. Where the Heart is I believe is what the quests are called.

'First Lieutenant' -- you have to be a Second Lieutenant to buy any housing. Or did you mistype?

Yeah I'm pretty sure I did the corresponding quest for Ishgard, and after that I got access to the resident area QwQ

I got to the rank above second lieutenant bc at first I thought the error was caused by not-high-enough rank, so I grinded to the rank above 2nd. Still popping the error im weeping

update: used the repair corrupted file function in the launcher and it's working now! : D
