Sujet : Is version 2.0 really coming out before 1-1-13

3 months... ;; holy crap.. well let's see, i have... 28 ps3 games i still have to beat/plat, i'm sure it'll laste me 3 months and a couple of animes i have to finish watching >.<

I doubt them letting us give back our characters until 2.0 is released because that would make the character info transfer pointless.

Yoshida: What’s going to happen is that after the current version is finished and storyline over, the servers will go down and the 2.0 beta will start up.

I do not know where ppl are coming up with this time frame. As stated in a previous post the limited free trial period is scheduled to start either late Oct/early Nov as per the current roadmap. To me that means we will be back playing the game using the Ver 2.0 client at that time. We are scheduled to receive the new client in early Oct. To me this sounds as if the free trial period will be the open Beta. My information comes from the roadmap posted on the OFFICIAL website. As best as I can tell all retailers such as Amazon continue to show a release date of early Jan 2013 for the game. I have talked to Amazon and they say the only dates they use are from the publishers themselves. So until there is a change posted on the website or Yoshi-P publishes a new timeframe, either there or in the forums we should go with what is already posted.

Open beta in January. We probably won't get our game back until 2.0. Servers down in a couple months.

Good luck with that. I can't keep a PS3 up and running long enough to complete that many games. Used to think that the X-Box 360 was the only hunk of junk on the market. PS3 is right up there with them.

I have read both of these articles. The interview from Gamer Escape gives absolutely no hint to a time frame. The one from MMOSite is right in line with what I have been saying. This game will go down in late Sept/early Oct. At that time SE will conduct Alpha and Closed Beta. The open Betas will be right after that. So unless SE has changed their minds about making the new client available for download to current subscribers sometime in late Oct we will be using that as part of the open Betas. In order to fully test the new client I am sure that our current characters will be made available to us at that time. Ergo we will be back in game in 1 fashion or another sometime in Nov <start of the free trial period>. Granted, there may be changes that SE has failed to informs us about but until an official post is made outlining them I will stand by my previous posts. This sounds like a job for the Community Reps.
