Did not get a single reference in this raid. Prishe is a cinnamon roll, though

That said, fun raid. Mechanics were........ neat, and healing through the whole thing for the first time is as chaotic as it ever is with new content. I do not look forward to this becoming extremely rote as time goes on.

Is it so much to ask that the Casual playerbase get their Story mode content?
If you think wiping a few times, again on week 1, in a pug is the same as "Savage" i have no idea what to tell you.

Poeple have come to expect so little challenge that anything that requires a modicum of thought is pushed back as Savage.

This is not content that requires a static, that much practice, or optimized gear.

This level of challenge is great for casuals. The fact we can all clear this with bad gear, no practice, and a PUG works just fine. If an extreme end of "I can't be challenged or learn patterns" players dont want to play it, so be it.

I bet a lot of people dogging on your idea are not looking past what you're saying and considering that it could have other implications. Not that I can blame them with how... liberal the devs have been with the sandpaper towards class complexity recently.
You know what the problem is? This game has been criticized to death by hyper casuals that don't want to actually play a game. They want to mindlessly walk through dungeons and raids (That are supposed to be EPIC AND DANGEROUS) and get pretty gear so they can dress up their character and call it good. While there isn't a problem avoiding challenge, if that's what they want to do they should be pushed towards crafting and sight seeing logs that give rewards. That shouldn't be challenging and be a relaxing good time.

But what has actually happened? Time and time again people come in here and complain about endgame content NO MATTER WHAT and time and time again the devs just shrug and take things away from us and give nothing in return. This cycle has led this game to become completely lobotomized for people who actually want to play.

The casual experience of this game should still have a level of danger so the people feel like they are actually in a world filled with monsters and villains that are at least capable of harming you... It should not require raid callouts, or high level organization... But the content should be able to wipe you... Dying is a normal part of a game.

If you think the patch content is "packed" with hardcore content think again. An extreme level fight here and there and 1 Ultimate fight isn't a lot of content.... People here are pointing their guns at the wrong crowd. Criticizing hardcore gamers for getting some content while both sides think they aren't getting much each patch.

This is making the playerbase fight for scraps.

No I don't think the content is anything like Savage having ran a number of Savages myself and regularly participating in Extreme runs with my FC. I also didn't compare the Alliance Raid to Savage either, I simply said if players want a challenge we have those modes in game already.

I found the Raid quite fine, enjoyable actually but I also understand that it may not be as accessible as a lot of players would like. In an ideal world I would like for all parties to have content they can engage in, it's ok to have relaxed stress-free daily and weekly duties and have content that gives challenge... I'm not advocating for removal of challenge, I'm advocating for content for all levels of play.

Point and laugh, but I rage quit because we died like 15 times. I don't want to go back. I'll wait until the next expansion, I guess. It sucked. I havent rage quit anything since Orbonne, so there's that.

I found this raid horrifically boring the entire way through. I suppose it could be due to me having never played XI, but I had never played a DrakenNier game when I did the first two Nier raids and I had a blast with them.

It was very mid. The scenery was great to look at. The fights were forgettable. Felt like the bosses repeated the same 3 mechanics a dozen times, perhaps to avoid a near future issue of people missing out on mechanics once people out-gear the fights like what happened in Myths of the Realm.

I still have to run it again on my second character, maybe it is burnout, but I'm not really excited nor in any rush to do so.

That's...brutal. We didn't even come close to wiping a single time over here and this is Crystal. Glad it worked out for you though.
